TRAIL MARKERS
The trail is well marked with two types of markers – those located on yellow posts and others on trees. As a general rule the markers are situated every few hundred meters, or when required at critical intersections to point you in the right direction.
MUNDA BIDDI CAMPSITES
Purpose-built cycle-friendly campsites have been built every 35-40km between towns. Campsites have a composting toilet, two water tanks, picnic tables, undercover bike storage facility, sleeping quarters for 25-30 people, and cleared tent sites.

WATER
The purity of the water in the tanks cannot be guaranteed so always treat the water first.
Purifying options include boiling, filtration and using purification tablets.
FIRE
Remember, Munda Biddi campsites are campfire free in order to prevent bush fires and protect the surrounding environment for campers foraging for firewood. Cyclists will need to carry a fuel stove (or equivalent) for cooking and a warm sleeping bag and clothing for cool evening.
CAMPSITES ARE CAMPFIRE FREE ZONES!
CAR ACCESS POINTS
All car access points are clearly marked on the Munda Biddi Trail Maps.
Please keep in mind that all the campsites have been designed so that there is no car access available.
OTHER CAMPING AREAS
In addition to the Munda Biddi Campsites there are a number of public campgrounds accessible by car near the trail, and these are clearly marked on the Munda Biddi Trail maps. Campfires are permitted in most of these campgrounds in the designated fire rings, but not in the fire danger months (November – March).
Camping fees may be applicable for some sites.
