Munda Biddi Campsites

These are free, purpose built huts for Munda Biddi Trail cyclists and are in beautiful locations, marked in green on the maps. Campsites have a self-composting toilet (bring your own paper), two water tanks (use sparingly and treat the water before drinking), picnic tables, a bike storage, a sleeping shelter for approx 25 people on four timber platforms and cleared tent sites. They are designated 'FUEL STOVES ONLY'. This minimises the risk of wildfires as in warm windy weather, fires can escape very easily. It also prevents foraging for wood, the homes of our precious animals and helps sustain the camp surrounds. 

The Munda Biddi Trail campsites are not accesible by vehicles, so you'll have to make arrangements to meet your vehichle support at public campsites or other vehichle access points marked by a red car symbol on the maps.

Other Accommodation 

The Trail passes through a number of small country towns with a range of accommodation. However, the first section starting in Mundaring travels 103km before it arrives in the next town of Jarrahdale, and then a further 81km to Dwellingup. These distances are too long for all but the fittest cyclists to do in one day. If you don’t wish to camp out under the stars, it is recommended that you organise a support team or arrange for someone to pick you up at the end of each day, take you to a town, and then drop you back on the trail the next day. Alternately you can plan day trips beginning and ending in town.
