Trail diversions are common and it is important that all users of the Munda Biddi Trail check both the Parks and Wildlife Service - Park Alerts System for the latest information about changes to the Trail, where you can download the maps below.

Current Diversions in Place

For all of the diversions below, the original route will remain closed until declared safe. For your safety stay on the marked diversion, adhere to and follow all signage and instructions from Parks and Wildlife and other emergency staff. Riders should be aware of operational vehicles and other traffic in these areas.

 

 

South of Lake Brockman / North of Yarri Campsite - (Map 3b) Start Date: 3/10/2022

The Munda Biddi is closed for 26km due to prescribed burning and timber harvesting. A 22.7km diversion is in place. For more information contact the Parks and Wildlife Service Collie office on (08) 9735 1988 or go to   the DBCA Park Alerts Website
   

South of Yarri Campsite - (Map 3b) Start Date: 12/9/2022

The Munda Biddi is closed for 6.1km due to prescribed burning, and a 7.8km diversion is in place. For more information contact the Parks and Wildlife Service Collie office on (08) 9735 1988 or go to  the DBCA Park Alerts Website.
 

Winter Diversion, Deep River, west of Fernhook Falls, Mt Frankland South National Park - map 7b Start Date: 13/6/2022

Deep River Winter Diversion 

Timber Harvesting Diversion near Yirra Karta Campsite, Mount Frankland National Park - map 7b Start Date: 10/3/2022

The Munda Biddi Trail is closed for 12km until further notice due to timber harvesting in Weld State Forest.
